What to Expect

When you visit Grotta Mangiapane, you'll find a mix of natural beauty and historical intrigue. The cave itself is a massive, dramatic structure, with its walls and ceiling showcasing natural rock formations. Inside, you can explore areas that were once used for cooking, storage, and living. There are also reconstructed scenes depicting traditional life in the cave, which help bring its history to life.

Guided tours are available, and they provide a deeper understanding of the site's history and significance. During your visit, you'll walk through the cave and see various points of interest, including ancient tools and artifacts.

Around the cave you will find some old huts and also animals how it must have been when people still lived there.

There is also a small coffee shop that offers drinks and some food platters whith cheese and meat.

The site is open from 10AM till 6 PM. The entrance fee is between 5 - 10 Euros per person depending on the season.
