    What to Expect

In the heart of Bali, Tukad Cepung Waterfall offers a truly unique experience. Imagine a hidden canyon where a waterfall plunges into a pool surrounded by cliffs. This unique waterfall creates a magical atmosphere perfect for adventurers and photography enthusiasts.

    The Perfect Photo

Capture the magic of Tukad Cepung by arriving early in the morning to witness the sun rays illuminating the waterfall and the surrounding canyon. A wide-angle lens is ideal for capturing the full grandeur of the cave and waterfall.

Take a dry cloth with you to clean the lens between the shots, as it blurs up pretty quickly from the mist of the waterfall.

Be mindful of the slippery rocks when setting up your shot.

    Insider Tips
    • Wear sturdy shoes: The path to the waterfall can be slippery, especially when wet.
    • Respect the culture and environment: Taking away souvenirs like rock or plants is absolutely disrespectful in the Balinese culture. Even climbing on the big rock for the iconic photo requires an apology to the gods of the forest to avoid bad luck. You can belive in it or not, but your Balinese guide will probably be very happy to be with someone who knows how to behave and respect the local culture. That also includes not to undess or litter.
    Best Time to Visit
    • Dry season (April to October): Enjoy pleasant weather with less rainfall for optimal exploration.
    • Morning (9 AM to 11 AM): Witness the famous sun rays illuminating the canyon leading to the waterfall and avoid crowds.
