Best Time to Visit
  • The best time to visit Cefalù is during the spring (April to June) or early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant, and the town is less crowded. Summer is also a great time if you don’t mind the heat and the higher number of tourists, as the beach and outdoor activities are in full swing.
Getting There

Cefalù is located on the Tyrrhenian coast of Sicily, about 70 kilometers east of Palermo. There are a few options to reach the town:

  • By Train: Trains run frequently from Palermo to Cefalù, with a journey time of about an hour. The train station is conveniently located within walking distance of the town center.
  • By Car: If you prefer to drive, the A20 motorway connects Palermo to Cefalù. It’s a scenic drive that takes around an hour.
  • By Bus: Several bus services also operate between Palermo and Cefalù, offering another convenient option for travelers.
